The AI audit
Find out where AI fits before anyone builds anything.
We look at how your business actually runs, then show you where a machine would help, where it would get in the way, and what each one would cost to run. If it points at a build, the audit fee comes off the price.
- You own the document
- Real numbers, not a brochure
- $1,500–2,500, credited against the build
What it is
An honest map of your own business, with the AI parts marked.
The enquiries, the bookings, the quotes, the chasing, the posting, the admin that eats a Sunday. Some of it a machine can do well. Some it can nearly do, which is worse than useless. Some must stay with a person. Then we put numbers on it.
What is in the document
- Every job in your business that AI could take on
- What each one is worth, in hours or in money
- What it would cost per month to actually run
- The jobs where AI is a bad idea, and why
- What must never be decided without a person
- A build plan with real numbers, if a build makes sense
What it usually finds
The same few things, in business after business.
The enquiries you lose overnight
The ones that arrive at 11pm and go to whoever answers first in the morning.
The same answer, typed again
Where are you, what do you charge, are you open Sunday. Hours a week, typed by a person who is good at something else.
The footage nobody ever posts
Phones full of material that never becomes anything, because editing it is a job.
The thing AI should never touch
Medical advice, legal advice, a price that depends on seeing the job. The audit names yours.
And then
We can build what the audit points at.
The people writing the recommendations are the people who would have to make them work. You are not obliged to use us; the document is written so another developer can act on it. If you do, the audit fee comes off the build.
What it costs
$1,500–2,500.

Questions
About the audit.
A piece of work where we look at how your business actually runs and show you where AI genuinely fits, where it does not, what it would cost to run, and what it must never be allowed to touch. You get a written document at the end and you own it.
A document, in plain language: the jobs in your business AI could do, what each one is worth in hours or money, what it would cost per month to run, the ones that are a bad idea and why, what must never be decided without a person, where your data would live, and a build plan with real numbers if a build makes sense.
The audit is a separate piece of work with its own fee, and the document is yours. You can take it to another developer, act on it yourself, or put it in a drawer. If the honest answer is that your business does not need a build, the document says so.
$1,500–2,500, in Australian dollars, quoted in writing before it starts. The figure depends on the size of the business and how many parts of it are in scope. If you go ahead with a build, the audit fee is credited against it.
Days, not months, for most small businesses. You are given the timeline with the quote, and if it slips you hear it from us first.
